Tens of thousands added to national DNA database by Kent Police

TENS of thousands of people were added to the national DNA database by Kent Police, making the force one of the top ten users in the country.
Its own figures show that between 2009 and 2011, the personal details of 39,755 individuals were added to the database, including their name, age and date of birth.
