Skulls in K’taka village surprises experts

Hubli, Aug 31 : Experts from geology and forensic science departments are still clueless over the finding of over 50 skulls while the municipal workers were digging a drainage in Annigeri town in Dharwad district on Saturday. The skeletons were buried in a very systematic manner.

These skulls were found near Agasi Oni of the town while working on excavation. But what surprised the experts were that limbs were missing while only skulls were placed in a row four feet below the ground surface.

The suspect, Patrick Bauldwin, was Pasinetta Prince’s former boyfriend at the time of her death. Police said the relationship was volatile.

Three Decade Old Murder Mystery Solved Using DNA

Riverside County sheriff’s homicide detectives solved the 1977 murder of a Rubidoux bartender by submitting hair found clenched in the victim’s hand to a private laboratory in Texas for DNA testing, a sheriff’s sergeant said Tuesday.

The DNA test showed that the hair belonged to Frank Wright, who died in 2002 from complications related to alcohol abuse at the age of 50, said Sgt. Scott Brown of the Riverside County sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit.
